The Master of Information Technology (MIT)  is a 2-year full-time postgraduate degree designed to prepare students for advanced roles in the fast-evolving IT industry.

Admission Requirements

Academic:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from a recognized institution, in any discipline.

  • Applicants with a non-IT background may be required to complete introductory IT foundation units.

English Language:

  • IELTS 6.5 overall (no band below 6.0), or

  • PTE Academic 56 overall (no communicative skill below 46), or equivalent.

Credit / Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL):

  • Students with prior study or relevant professional experience may receive up to 50% credit.

  • The Capstone / Project unit is not eligible for credit transfer.

Learning Approach

The MIT program uses a blended learning approach, combining classroom lectures, lab-based workshops, and online learning.

Students work on practical IT projects, developing solutions to real-world challenges in software, networking, data management, and information systems.

Assessments include coding projects, technical reports, case studies, research assignments, and presentations, ensuring both academic and practical skill development.
